The day before Easter, we went to an Easter egg hunt at our church. It was divided up into age groups. Luckily, Grayson didn't get mowed down by the older kids.

Here is my big boy waiting for the race to start. He looks so much older in a hat!

An egg has been spotted--sort of.

He found the egg, but lost the hat.

Then there was the visit with the Easter Bunny...and he didn't even cry.
The next morning was Easter. We went to church, then let Grayson play with things from his Easter basket. Two hot items were the Spiderman backpack and the bubble gun. He can't dip the gun in the solution, but he sure loved seeing the bubbles flying in the air.

Since he had practiced hunting for eggs, we figured he'd be a pro at the family egg hunt. We had brunch at the Woestman gathering in Santee. We filled up on food and then it was time.
Getting ready for the hunt.
Practicing. Man, he was into it. Do not touch his eggs!
On the prowl...
and he scored!
Love all the new photos -- especially seeing Grayson playing with his cousins. I bet they're all going to be the best of friends!
