New beginnings and birthdays

Grayson playing in his tunnel.

Benjamin playing with Peter Rabbit.

The two of them playing together.

The last few weeks have been quite busy in the world of Woestman. School started so that means that I'm back at work and Grayson's back a daycare part-time. He loves his Nanny and his friends there. So luckily for us, that was an easy transition. It was not an easy transition for me. My classroom was used as a storage room all summer long. (Not a usual thing. Each classroom got fancy, dancy new technology; interactive whiteboards, ipad looking things, docucams, etc. My room was where they housed all of the equipment all...summer...long.... This translates into me not being able to access my room when everyone else could and me not having my equipment hooked up. So, while everyone else at my site is having fun playing with all their new toys. I'm stuck crawling over all of the equipment that is supposed to be working, but isn't. "They" say that it should be hooked up this coming week.... I'm not holding my breath.)
Other than that, all is good here. We celebrated my birthday in early September. Jerry bought me a new camera and Grayson is thoroughly annoyed with me shoving it in his face day and night. He will not look at me anymore when I have it wrapped around my neck. We also got the treat of babysitting my sister's son, Benjamin, on Friday night. Ben and Grayson had so much fun playing. We played outside, ate dinner, bathed them and then played some more. Grayson and Ben were completely pooped by 9:00 (an hour past their bedtime, but we thought we'd let them stay up).
Soon, we'll be celebrating Jerry's birthday (at the end of September). Unfortunately that is my Back to School Night, so Jerry and Grayson will have a Daddy/Son night to themselves. Jerry and I will celebrate a few days before when we will go to dinner and the Padres game sans G--thanks Mom and Dad.
Hope all is well in your world! Take care.
