Sugar High

We went to a cousin's wedding the Friday night before Thanksgiving. Since Jerry did not have his surgery, he joined us and we all had a great time. Karli was supposed to get married the year before, but being the wife of a military man, they had to postpone their wedding due to deployment. So, on November 19, 2010, we witnessed the beautiful ceremony of Karli and Matt.

We found that the easiest way to keep G quiet was to feed him some M&M's that were on the table. He gladly ate them all up. This was quite the treat since he usually does not get candy.

Here he is eating even more M&M's. A funny coincidence was the guy in the light green shirt behind Jerry is a friend of mine from work. I've known him since we started working in the district at the same time (about 6 years ago). He is an Adapted P.E. teacher and works with some of my students. He is also related to Karli (on her mom's side--we're related on her dad's side). I saw him right before the wedding started and we laughed that we have a whole family of relatives in common.

The sugar high came to a crashing halt. G was out by about 7:30. He had so much fun though. He was out cutting a rug on the dance floor, just like his daddy.

This was the perfect way to spend the evening after the disappointing evening the night before.
